Back when we ran modem pools, all of the terminal servers were placed in
the *.nuts.northwestern.edu zone. NUTS = Northwestern University Terminal
Servers. At our peak, we had pretty much run out of regular nuts names
like brazil, pecan, walnut, areca, dika, persimmon, etc and had been
reduced to beer and mixed. If we had gotten 2 more I was going to try to
sneak "left" and "right" past the higher-ups, but we never got to that
stage.

mixed.nuts is actually our last one and is scheduled for deactivation this
week.
