Slightly off-topic: Awhile ago, we were receiving DMCA notices to a very outdated address. The address wasn't even registered with copyright.gov; I believe they got it from our domain registration. Our legal counsel advised us to trash them. -- Michael J. On a related note, we had never received a notofication from the Frank Zappa Family Trust before, but got our first one last week. But it wasn't a takedown notice, it was a presettlement notice. It was also not sent to our registered DMCA agent address. Anybody else ever dealth with the Zappas? We got one a couple of weeks ago. We decided to handle it like we would any other pre-settlement letter. We send them to the student so they can make their own decision on how they want to proceed.
