Hi Matt, Here at the University of Pittsburgh we are using Google's Postini service. We implemented it in 2005 before Google owned them, but we are still happy with the results. We looked at appliances when we first implemented, but decided it would make more sense to use an external service to minimize the overhead. Hello, everyone. I hope you're enjoying a calm and peaceful beginning to another semester. Though this is a recurring question, I haven't seen it posed on this list in a while. What is everyone using for anti-spam/anti-virus filtering on email these days? We're moving away from our current appliance, and exploring our options for the first time in a few years. Feel free to email me off-list. If people are interested, I'd be happy to summarize numbers and comments. Let me know. --Matt -- Matt Gracie (716) 888-8378 Information Security Administrator graciem () canisius edu Canisius College ITS Buffalo, NY http://www2.canisius.edu/~graciem/graciem_public_key.gpg
