We have a campus wide service for faculty and staff based on OpenVPN. The client is configured to use the central username/password authentication system. We are also using OpenVPN as a shim with client software used on campus that doesn't natively use encrypted network connectivity. Also, many departments use Remote Desktop. Mike Mike Wiseman Manager, Computer Security Administration Computing and Networking Services University of Toronto I was wondering what other colleges and universities are using to allow Faculty, staff and students to connect remotely (from off campus) to their group and home directories to access their personal files?
