We also installed a redundant internet pipe (20meg AT&T and 20 meg
Charter). Traffic is routed out both pipes . So it seems we have a
similar set up as Crown College. We haven't been able to identify what
is causing this problem though.

We are seeing that same error all the time. Over the summer, we picked
up a redundant internet connection for a 2nd ISP in town. We have our
Sonicwall firewall do percentage based load balancing across both pipes.
We have the option enabled that tries to keep sessions routed through
the same connection, but after setting all of this up, we starting
seeing these youtube errors. I disregarded them, thinking they were the
result of takedowns, until I tried to show one of my staff a video that
I had watched at home earlier that day (and have watched since then).
The errors are just coming up at the college...

I have noticed the error in the past when my browser times out while
attempting to contact whatever content server the media resides on.
Usually refreshing the page kicks it into gear and the content loads.

I have seen that a special message is displayed if the content is
removed due to DMCA, something along the lines of "The content you
have requested has been removed at the request of it's creator"

Most likely that is the case when copyright material has been

I'd noticed that NBC selectively pulled videos of a few SNL skits
recently and left others
(the Tina Fey / Sarah Palin skits) on YouTube and got the 'video no

longer available' message.

*We*re sorry, this video is no longer available*???

Would appreciate if others seeing this have found possible causes
and resolution to problem.

Rick.
