At UC the Information Security Department handles these investigations.  If we find evidence of a crime we work jointly 
with the UCPD detectives.  Our department actually has dotted line reporting to the Chief of Police and we act as the 
PDs cyber investigations lab as well.

network or sysadmin teams;
