Investigations of this nature are coordinated by the IT Security & Policy Office. We ensure necessary approvals are 
obtained (e.g. the VP for Student Affairs must approve all searches of student records), consult with appropriate other 
groups as needed (e.g. Audit, General Counsel), and work with various network and system administrators to search for 
requested electronic records.
