What is your server architecture (Windows,Novell, etc)? We run Windows AD and use group policy.

We are using Deep Freeze here at the University of Montevallo, and are not experiencing any delays in booting. We
just switched from McAfee to Sophos as our AV software standard. Another product we are using is Clean Slate by
Fortress Grand.

Does anyone use Deep Freeze on their campus and have horrible boot times? One of our issues is that Symantec Virus
Definitions are updated every time a computer is booted and that takes a lot of time. Are there other alternatives
that you all are using?
