One of our sysadmins created a doc that lists the ports that need to be open
for a service to work. Typical services include Exchange, Banner, LDAP, Active
Directory, Citrix etc. The doc is available at http://www.security.vt.edu/locki
tdown.html#securityprocedures, click on "Generic Firewall Configuration
Document". This doc is useful when trying to configure host based or subnet
firewalls.
