The Medical College of Georgia uses swipe cards for after-hours building access, full-time floor to floor stairwell access in some buildings, and a combination of key and swipe cards for some restricted rooms within building, including the machine room. Video surveillance is also widely used for building exteriors and some key interior locations around the hospital.
