VLAN Traversal

In a lab environment I am researching VLAN traversal techniques. I'm
hoping someone would be courteous enough to share with me some of
their techniques, specifically on enumerating VLAN IDs. The scenario
would be machine A, machine B and machine C are all connected to a
switch. Machine B and C share a VLAN, the ID of which is 100. If
machine A is the attacker, how would it go about discovering the
specific ID (100) so that an attack can be perused? Any help would be
most appreciated; thanks in advance.

Regards
