When auditing a site that has a web site/mail server hosted on site, what are the methods to determine the ip address of the firewall & router in front of them?
The first step is always to NOT HIJACK OTHER PEOPLE'S THREADS. Why is it so damn hard for some people to write a new mail when they want to start a new subject? After that you'd probably try traceroute or tcptraceroute. Regards Ansgar Wiechers -- "All vulnerabilities deserve a public fear period prior to patches becoming available." --Jason Coombs on Bugtraq
