if looking for a cost effective solution, I would suggest Nortel VPN

Strong points:

- Supports almost any application with different integration methods
to publish internal applications: network extension, tunneling, app
emulation with applets, webization of FTP/SMB and web reverse proxy
- Groups-based ACLs (groups can be internal, RADIUS, LDAP..)
- Very high performance
- Can also support IPSec besides SSL VPN
- Cost-effective
