Hello Melissa,
I took my GSEC cert with on-demand learning, and I can say it was very 
useful.
I liked it very much, because, even having the printed books and mp3 
classes also, you have more mp3 files with lessons from different 
instructors and another text explanation for each topic.
It is divided in short "chapters" so you can study less than 30min if 
someday or sometime you have not more time, and finish a logical 
section. Don't leaving it at the middle.
You have questions at the end of each topic, which are similar to the 
ones you will have at the exam.
Summarizing the best things for me were:
-More mp3 lessons
-Another source of text information (having things explaind twice, books 
and online)
-Short topics. Which permits you study small fractions of time if needed.
-More exam like questions

I also should say that is the only way I got an GIAC certification, and 
probably will be the way I will continue using.
