Hey guys !!!

I want to ask some questions regarding a test network for experiments...I
have 3 systems.I have VMWare 4.5 .Various OS's.etc etc ..I have not taken
CCNA exam ..so please dont mind to answer my silly questions

1.Can I can use Internet Connection sharing for 2 machines ? Or should i
have to take 3 different IP's from ISP.

2.How many OS's Should i install on 3 systems.

please help me

You don't need 3 different IPs from the ISP. In fact if your experiments
are self-contained (i.e: dont need internet) then you are free to assign
any IP address in the IPv4 space (all on the same network ofcourse)
You are better off running linux as the base OS on all the 3 and then
having a VMWare windows instance as needed as it is a lot easier to do
networking on "unix" like platforms.
Hope this helps.

P.S: CCNA does not imply networking knowledge ... and vice-versa. :)
