Found this interesting posting regards SST-PR-1 http://www.ittc.ku.edu/wlan/phorum/read.php?f=1&i=40&t=40#reply_40 Re: SST-PR-1 Author: Tybalt Date: 07-22-03 07:24 Ditto here in Warner Robins, GA. I have a home on the edge of a new subdivision. Between the building still being built and the large about of construction (widing and rerouting the roads), there is a lot of activity. I also live within 20 miles of Robins Air Force Base (RAFB). This SST-PR-1 wirlesss network has come up and down often over the last few months. I finially did a search and found this thread. Here is what I know: SSID: SST-PR-1 Net Auth: Open Data Encryptoin: WEP Type: Peer-to-Peer (Ad Hoc) Link Speed: 1 Mbps TPC/IP - IP:169.245.54.130 Mask:255.255.0.0 --------------------------------------- Following from NeoTrace Pro v3.2 --------------------------------------- ARIN WHOIS database, last updated 2003-07-21 19:15 Name: Unknown IP Address: 169.245.54.130 Location: 38.839N, 77.344W (Virgina near Wash D.C.) Set your SSID to SST-PR-1. This will cause mostwar->driversto move on without bothering with you. ;)That is a good one.... I had to google it to figure out what was the laugh.
I googled it, and just out of interest, what is it the SSID for? Google seems to say Sears vans but there doesn't seem to be a clear answer. Echleon....
