Ah, security through stupidity, or, terrorists are dumb so the US is ok
and the press shouldn't reveal what every spy/infiltrator learns in
Spying 101.

Huh? There you go again assuming..... Neither you nor I know what level
of sophistication a particular enemy organization works at... Look at
Saddam. He managed to fool the US and many other countries into thinking
he had WMDs...(he actually did, but that is another story).

Its too bad that the media is not supportive of the war on
terror(amazing that its so clear where they stand...). Things might be
different. The Iraq occupation would probably have already be over.

Funny how the media wont report comparisons and contrasts of what the
government did in WW2 in a real declared war.. Interrment, censorship,
loads of real domestic surveillance.. America knew what was at stake
then.

These days, as long as the nuke or anthrax aint in your city, its no
skin off your butt.

All this thrashing about today is just political payback for the Clinton
Impeachment, the 2000 election and the fact that the Democrats don't
control congress. Its just too bad the disgruntled NSA/CIA employees,
Dems and the media are using national security methods and sources as
their political poker chips.

Have you ever considered that maybe terrorists don't have to be
particularly devious to outsmart the US security establishment?
Turf-wars, organisational lethargy and other institutional failings make
life simple for terrorists, including the tactically dumb ones.

I totally agree with you but why make it even easier?

Personal Disclaimer: I cannot hide my bias. I did 12 years in the Air
Force working with lots of programs that we're touching on. I so wish I
could comment on them, but unlike the other CIA person who feels that
their own conscience trumps the national security of the USA, I'm happy
to fullfill my oath of secrecy. The one thing I have learned in my
experience is this: Tin foil on!! IF you have nothing to hide, you
have nothing to worry about....

I cant wait for the responses..

:)
