Just a word of warning to this list about traveling to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There is civil unrest in Malaysia and
the police and ruling regime are brutally repressing their own people. They are also arbitrarily shutting down access
to KL (Kuala Lumpur) and mass transit. They are also blocking access to foreign embassies and consulates so if you get
into trouble getting help may be an issue. The last time I traveled there to visit relatives they shut down access to
KL right after we left. Consider your personal safety and ensure you register with your country's consulate or embassy
prior to traveling to Malaysia. While I doubt that the ruling class will harass foreigners traveling into Malaysia for
a conference if they shut down road or mass transit access your trip could be disrupted or if you get stuck in a free
and fair elections demonstration you may be inadvertently included in with the demonstrators and arrested.

than a subject that has been covered several times before. Each non-resident speaker will receive accommodation for 3
