Hi Raj,

The only program I stumbled upon so far which can brute force Truecrypt volumes is the Password Recovery Toolkit (PRTK)
from AccessData.

Here's a link: http://www.accessdata.com/decryptionTool.html#passwordrecoverytoolkit

I have no idea how well the product performs since I was never able to test it so far, but it's the only thing I can
think of which might help you.

Best regards,

Mark

Subject: Help on truecrypt recovery

Hi grp

Firstly, seasons greeting !

On the new year note , I happend to forget my truecrypt password. I
got some queries in this regards

1. BIOS 's pre-boot authentication works on full disk encryption but
what abt file encryption (over OS), any pointers ?
2. How does password mechanism work on a encrypted file.
3. Any good disctionary attack tools.

Regards
Raj
