Hello,

I have used HP Openview Data Protector for some time and am very happy with it's ability to scale to large
organisations and also backup often and quickly on core servers - used to be called omniback

http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/storage/software/dataprotector/index.html

It's good for one button disaster recovery and builds an ISO to boot your recovered hardware from, though for just data
backup we use an online data store that doesn't do any system backup as such, just transferrs the data to a central
repositiry,

HTH,

Larry Dutton

I'm looking for backup software recommendations. We currently use
Veritas BackupExec v9.x and don't like it. I would like to find out
what people are actually using and think well of. I've had trouble
googling for this: results are typically outdated or blatant marketing
pieces.
