When my company was smaller we used Retrospect and it was great. It isn't designed for large organizations, but it's pricing model and simplicity make it a very good tool for small business. It never let us down on a restore which is more than I can say for many other vendor's backup software. Is that before or after Dantz was acquired by EMC? I'm just curious if anyone knows if EMC has taken steps to improve the software, or if it's still as problematic to use as Steve describes.
