Laugh if you like, but the reality of the situation is that script
kiddies gravitate to the "black holes" on a subnet like moths to flame
because systems that aren't there don't eat packets, but systems
subjected to the silliness of media whore hype do. This so called
"stealthiness" is an even stronger indicator of lazy/clueless
administrative practices than most other useless-gimmick security
measures.
