Hello all, 

I hate to post a request like this but Ive had a very hard time finding information on this topic so Im hoping some 
of you may be able to help. Im currently an InfoSec Student and also have a large interest in wireless. Im trying to 
do some research for a forensics paper on Wireless Forensics. I was looking for any info anyone could provide on the 
subject. I will be very grateful for any assistance! Below are a few basic questions Im trying to use to start my 
research, please feel free to add anything you like, your help will be much appreciated!

 

Wireless as in WiFi, 802.11

 

What is involved in wireless forensics?

What is the goal of WF?

What tools might you use? Hardware & Software

Why would you need/use WF?

What is an example of a typical incident and/or response involving wireless?

How do different wireless security implementations help or hurt in WF?

Where might I find more information related to wireless forensics?
