It all depends on whether you will have user interaction. We use a service that is a flavour of VNC but we call the client, get them to go to our website and click on the 'Remote Access' button, it then installs a small application that prompts them to choose the IP/Port combo on our side and sets up the connection that way. But that requires the direct interaction of the user. -----Original Message----- From: Li Yinchao [mailto:xcodesadmin () gmail com] Sent: Monday, November 21, 2005 11:36 PM To: mickael kael Cc: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Re: Remote Control to a remote computer with no listen port I don' think a tool of remote control can support no listen port on remote host! 2005/11/19, mickael kael <mickael.kael () gmail com>:
Hi, I'm searching a tool of remote control wich support no listen port on the remote computer. That mean that the remote computer must open connection to a server which permit connection to him. client to control ---(VPN over https)---> server (java applet) <---(https)-- client Any idea or documentation to implement that ? Best regards, Mk
