You need to carefully go through the settings in the Gold Standard template
and make sure that each of the settings is appropriate for your environment.
The template as it is will not suit everyone and should be tweaked on a
minor scale to make sure that it does not cause any issues when implemented.

Has anybody run into any problems using Win2000 Pro when they have
installed/run the CIS Win2kProGold_R1.2 security template?

The PC's would be used by students studying anything from a basic secretary
course to graphic design to in some cases, MCSE students.

Thanks
Simon
