wireless access point IP address

Hi guys, I am a newby here, and this is probably a very simple question. I have 3com access point and forgot its ip address. It keeps changing whenever I change the internet provider. And its nothing close to default gateway or anything. I have tried several port scanners with different IP range with no success. How can I use wireshark to find this IP for me? I have fortunately secured the access point but need to add clients in its MAC filer. Thanks in advance. Frank
