Any Vulnerability Associated with Sharing single printer?

Does any one know if there is any risk associated with allowing two
different users share a printer on printer's separate ports? One will be
using its serial port and the other one will be using its parallel port.
Thank you.

(BTW, Printer model is a HP 2250TN or HP 2280TN)
