Just as a tiny comment: big-endian is also checked on Solaris Sparc
with the OpenCSW farm buildbot already hooked up in the Github CI.

OpenCSW buildbot has been building tcpdump and libpcap since at least
2014, and many times it proved to be useful in detecting and fixing
bugs that were less obvious with other architectures, operating systems
and compilers. The shell access is especially convenient for debugging
as it provides a much shorter feedback loop.
