Yes, the comments have been definitely disabled, for me. This is what I see there

Also, the list subscription instructions on http://www.tcpdump.org/#lists contradict the subscription instructions 
received after mailing "help overview" in body to majordomo () lists tcpdump org. I sort of trust the second. Also, the 
gmane web interface should be used for display only. 

However, I am mainly interested in the subject of this thread: what does the -i in man "Ties are broken by choosing the
