  Depends upon how you got the first copy.
  If you installed from source, then just install on-top.

  If the first was from your system, then install in another location via
- --prefix=something. Traditionally, this is called /usr/local, but I always
install my systems with another tree, which in my case, I can /sandel, and
use that for locally installed stuff.
