If you are using snort.rules generated by PulledPork, then make sure the rule (gid:136, sid:1) exists in the file and 
that snort.rules is included in snort.conf.

As far as I understand preprocessor rules do not have policy metadata attached to them, so they cannot be controlled 
through PulledPork per policy. Please, correct me if I am wrong. I am not sure if the policy designation is already 
attached in code, however, the text stubs don't .

Well, the rule is still there and set to alert, it also has no # in front… So yes, I’m quite positive that it should 
still work!
Also, before I had quite a few other rules that were generating alerts, e.g. for the stream5 preprocessor. All of those 
are now suddenly gone as well, Snort has become dead quiet…
