its barnyard (1).  the depracated one.

these are patches that
1) fix the problems with mysql 5+ which could 'go away' (go to sleep, 
timeout) and barnyard will disconnect and exit.
2) these are patches that will improve barnyard(1) performance.


as for 'details',  that is why I went to colin.grady.us.
