If you can't even get Snort to work using Windows, how in the hell are you
EVER going to get LINUX to work?

Hello ,

 

I am a studen and ihave a project about  ids.

And i try to insatll sort win32 version 2.3 in winXP servise pack 2

with winPcap 3.0 but i have this errrorrrrrrrrr 

 

ERROR: OpenPcap() device  open:
        The interface name has not been specified.
Fatal Error, Quitting..

 

 

 

 

Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase i need help.

give the good version to work with it.

and after that i promise that i will be i linuxien man.
