When RH was shipping 5.x-6.x (IIRC), they were shipping version 0.4.  This
version also had some RH specific changes on return values to certain
functions.  It caused quite a bit of email here about 'Snort is broken on
RedHat.'  As for the exact specifics, I don't have them in front of me,
but I'm sure I can dig up the info given time.
