We are running Snort on a SMP Win2k Advanced Server box and notice in processes that after a week the amount of RAM Snort is using is close to 50MB. We have shut the program down and restarted it and it usually starts at about 9MB. The box is running dual PIII 600MHZ, 512MB, Adaptec RAID 5 array on a SuperMicro mainboard. Just an FYI. We are really looking forward to 2.0. David Wilkinson Adalis Companies, Inc 525 Del Rey Ave Suite H Sunnyvale, CA 94085-3515 408-617-0230 408-617-0011 FAX --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
