Re: Libpcap library/headers not found and bigendian?

I am running 8.1.6. What I had found was that GCC 3.0.2
for Solaris 8 was giving all the problems. So I had
upgraded to 3.0.4 from www.gnu.org.
 No more errors or complaints.

Reading specs from
/usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/3.0.4/specs
Configured with: ./configure
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.0.4

thank you for all the help.

 OK which one?

Well... It depends. :) I'm pretty certain you don't want the one from
nessus. With the others, I would use the most current one from tcpdump.org.

What OS are you running on? Platform? Try doing a make clean before running
./configure and see if that helps. If not, use the pcap locator options on
./confiure:

  --with-libpcap-includes=DIR libcap include directory
  --with-libpcap-libraries=DIR libcap library directory

Try that and see what you get.
