alot of), I would think that the interface name would go after the colon
(:).  True or false?

xl0 is a eepro100 NIC under *BSD. Unlike Linux (where everything is eth*), BSD 
(and Solaris, maybe others as well) name their interfaces depending what NIC 
brand/model it is.
