I'm wondering if anyone has come across a small &
portable "Telnet Server" for Win32 systems that will
allow you to set a password for access. I've tested
such programs as tini.exe & srvcmd.exe and they work
very well, but I can't control access via a password.
Any suggestions besides remote.exe? Thanks in advance.

You can use cryptcat from farm9 that way.
(http://farm9.com/content/Free_Tools/Cryptcat) The password is
basically the encryption key. If they don't match, you can not
transmit/receive data. Additional advantage is that... well... all
communication is encrypted. And since cryptcat is just like netcat,
you can still use it in any existing scripts you may have.

Regards,
Frank
