There could be many answers to the MAC adress problem you are seeing. one could be that the switch might have 2 macadresses, and one could be that there is another switch/hub or network communication device (fx crypto engine bridge and more) who is possible to set a adress to and "monitor", but might not be able to communicate via Tcp/ip. if you need more infor please mail me, you can reach me at hobbs () telia com during this week, or you can reach me at this adress, (but it will have to w8 until wednesday or thursday then.)
