Many thanks to all who provided ideas and answers to my question. Jeff Deitz's simple idea worked great for my security app (tho the mouse pointer still turns to a hourglass or flickers occasionally), and provided a much more secure alternative than WSH (Windows Scripting Host), or other similar alternatives which might work but may introduce other areas security concern. The other ideas contriuted are also very helpful, and provide alot of interesting ideas in kicking off certain programs when in the midst of Pen Testing NT servers. -mch Jeff Deitz wrote--- Go to Control Panel, Services, Startup of the select service and uncheck the "Allow service to Interact with Desktop" That should take care of it.
