Scanning for Intalled Security Software

Easy, just run a credentialed scan using Nessus, and configure it to
enumerate all the installed software via WMI, as well as do the epic
patch scanning it is capable of. This will have the added benefit of
revealing a number of other missing security patches and configuration
issues you may not be aware of.

Hey Guys,

Does anyone have any experiance with doing agentless scanning for
installed software in a network?
I'm looking for instances where workstations may exist that do not
have Safeguard Easy or Anti-virus Installed.

Many thanks in advance,
Shane
