I will keep OSSEC in mind if/when we evaluate a stand-alone HIPS/HIDS
solution.

OSSEC Rocks!

It takes a bit of tuning but it is v. good.  I'm just waiting for the
splunk plugin to be updated to splunk v4.

We're running in on over 80 systems in a production environment with no
issues.
