Hi all, ? ? I'd like to get some recommendations for a good intro to crypto book. Something that would give me a spring board to understanding the ins and outs of the darknets I've been researching, public key crypto, and the basic math behind things. I'm getting a little tired of only being able to explain things with a wave of the hand and saying "the magic part happens here" and would like to have a deeper understanding. Thanks Adrian ps. A quick and dirty version of the darknets talk from Phreaknic is here: http://www.irongeek.com/i.php?page=videos/darknets-i2p-tor-phreaknic _______________________________________________ Pauldotcom mailing list Pauldotcom at mail.pauldotcom.com http://mail.pauldotcom.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pauldotcom Main Web Site: http://pauldotcom.comPractical Cryptography - Ferguson/Schneier - http://www.amazon.com/dp/0471223573 Applied Cryptography - Schneier - http://www.amazon.com/dp/0471117099
In a recent blog post Bruce suggests his sequel over the original. It being about a quarter the size I preferred it as well! Robin
