he EU6/EU6V meters are part of the established Liberty family of  
products offering reliable and secure ?token-less? pay-as-you-use and  
credit options. In addition, these meters offer the option of remote  
communications and can be used for AMI/AMR data retrieval, remote  
consumer management and remote valve closure in emergency situations.

Two variants:
EU6v - prepayment/credit with shut-off valve
EU6 ? credit only, without the shut-off valve.
Based on U6/ 2-litre BS EN: 1359-compliant product with Ofgem approval.
Meets PRS22 Type N, Zone 2 approved.
Electronic prepayment using the Liberty keypad entry technology via an  
in-home display or via GSM
> 10 year battery life from a replaceable D-cell
Interrogation via an optical 1107 port
Optional pulse output
Valve opening operation approved to Safety Integrity Level 2 (SIL 2)  
using manual intervention
Tamper logging includes:
Magnetic fraud detection
Tilt detection
Battery removal detection
The system can be configured to close the valve on detection of tamper  
attempts
