My patch is just a simple unified diff. So it doesn't say what should
be deleted, no.

I know only the 'diff' basics. For a bigger patch, I should have swapped \ -> /.
I don't think my diff can do it. I use version 2.7:
diff - GNU diffutils version 2.7
