Old school :)!  My first contract SA job was working with the author
of Netbus (very smart guy and a decent person as well) and a business
colleague of his, managing the Linux server they used to initially
distribute Netbus waaay back in 1995 when they decided to 'go legit'
and sell it as a remote administration tool.  His colleague would let
his script kiddie friends on the server and they would regularly try
to root the box using the accounts he gave them so it was a good trial
by fire job - i didn't know enough at the time to tell him how crazy
it was to allow people on the server and let them stay there who's
main intent seemed to be to use it for cracking practice.

Neat to see it mentioned again
