Looking at the IPv6 support.

IPv6 OPTIONS:
  -6, --IPv6                       : Use IP version 6.

$ nping -6 -v ff02::1

IPv6 not supported yet.

Using -6 produces an expected result.  If you try to use the long form
--IPv6, you get an error.
