Attached is the patch that fixes this problem.

Please do commit this patch while we are looking at your other
NmapOutputTable patch. Then Patrick can continue with his performance
testing.

I've committed the fix.  Patrick, I didn't feel comfortable committing
to your branch too so if you'd like to go ahead and do a merge things
should work now.

David, I'll see about addressing your questions/suggestions for my more
complete patch.  It will take some time testing.
