Issue with scanning in Vista

Hello.

I am having difficulty performing a scan with Nmap in Vista. It keeps saying
that the host is down, even though I scan different hosts and I can verify
that they are up and usable. I think that this is a Vista issue since I can
use Nmap without problems on my XP computer.
