Hi bro!

Things are OK, hope you & your familiy are allright.

I tried mostly everything mentioned here:

http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/eserver/library/es-033104.html

to no avail.

Today I discovered that ip_conntrack was using 23MB as reported by slabtop with only 3 nmaps running, so I'm in the
process of using TCP Wrappers for the couple services we need, and dropping iptables. I hope that helps...

Cheers,

Miguel

Hi brother, good to read you here :) - How's life doing there? ;)

I've been trying to find information on system tuning (and/or
nmap tuning) for running multiple instances of nmap.

Playing with /proc sounds reasonable to me.
